My father bought it new, I inherited it 5 years ago. Currently 120,000 miles never wrecked (till yesterday, very minor bumper damage) original white paint, everything in very good condition. All i need is bumper bracket, bumper and lower plastic but the "might as well while I'm here" has set in. Being white it is on the boring side and I would like to freshen up the look a little. I'm working on being an old man so nothing over the top. I am thinking of replacing the grille assemply. It is the factory white and chrome and the factory paint is starting to blister and pop off. Thought about getting the solid black assembly and adding black stripes or graphics of some kind. Being a step side it looks like nothing is available to give a complete package look for graphics. Also thinking about LED headlight assemblies. Mine are starting to get cloudy on top. What about rear LED tail light assemblies? Does LED mess up the blinkers like it does on older cars?
I am about to finish up the underhood restoration of my 1976 Lincoln Mark IV so I need something else to spend too much money on.
Thanks everyone,
Kurt Thompson
