My ranger does not have a cabin air filter but the check engine light is always on. I got it checked out and was told it’s because of the cabin air filter. How do I reset or remove the check engine light and make it not come on again because of that....?

P0506 is the code. The engine is a 6 cylinder. 2006 xlt.

Probably need to clean the IAC(idle air control) Valve on the upper intake of the engine
