No longer a Ranger owner after today :(

Well as most of you know, the Ranger has been for sale due to +1 in the family (baby). We needed two vehicles that could "safely" haul our child with a backseat, so I upgraded to my white 04 F150 Lariat. A local young couple (my age) pulled the trigger on the Ranger and will be gettting her today :( I am very sad to see a good friend go, BUT, she has been a good truck and I will miss her!

She was supposed to go yesterday, but had to wait for the title to come in today from the credit union's central office, but anywaysm im not going anywhere, I still log in daily!

Sad to see your Ranger go.... But your new ride is really a beauty. Hopefully the new owners take as good care of the Ranger as you have!!

I love my full size, but I dont have the memories I had in the ranger with this truck (yet). plus I bought the ranger when it only had 25k on it, and i bought the f150 with 73k, ill probably trade her in on a 2012 or 2013 model in a few years when they become used so I can get the 5.0

From all your pictures of Betsey and where you've been with her i could only imagine how much you'll miss the truck. But look on the bright side man just imagine the memories that your going create in a few years in the F150 with your family.

x2 but the f150 will suit your needs much better and its a nice truck so you should actually feel good about it

I have a feeling you are going to worry about it and sneak into the couple's driveway and wash and wax it in the middle of the night so it is never below your Scott clean standards

After driving the ranger for a bit and the jumping back into the F150 when i bought this one, it makes you appreciate the F150 for its creature comforts and smooth ride. Heck it rides smoother than the ranger ever did and Im on wore out 35s. I can only imagine what it will be like when I get new tires this summer.

I will tell you this though, the Ranger is the most dependable truck Ive ever owned.

^ this. totally agree with Dave. every vehicle has their own special memories, but with the 150 and being able to take your whole family with you, the memories will be three fold. and the memories wont only be yours, they'll be your whole families.

totally agree with you here. its totally different going from the 350 to the ranger, only thing i miss about the ranger is ease of parking haha. but i will agree with you. i've never really had a problem with my ranger at all. damn dependable.
