1st off, I love my Ranger... its only a 4 banger, but it was my 1st "new" car that I bought in 99.... but lately I'm thinking of trading it in on another newer Ranger, but I dont like the idea of 2 car payments.

But now adays, I'm not driving it at all because of the little things that I miss from driving my Cobra (aside from the power output). I'm missing the nice little things like power windows/locks/alarm, and a/c.

I'm more than willing to add all that myself, with the a/c being the most time consuming due to my work schedule. But I have no idea on where to go to even begin at looking for the parts I would need. I have a chiltons, but those dont list part numbers.

So, please... be brutal, honest, and hopefully helpful.

Thanks man, the only big reasons why i dont want to sell is that it's paid off, and I dont want another payment.

I'm pretty new to this forum, so I dont know if anyone has done any of these upgrades of not.

 

If you don't want another car payment the don't get a new car save the money and get another truck when you are better off to get it. Save the money you would on mods and you'll be that much closer to a newer truck.
