Icon5 odd movement

hi all.
i have a 2000 ranger 3.1 xlt.lateley it has been riding odd.
when i apply brakes lightly about 5 to 10 mph.it feels like there is a tire with a small bump .you feel like your driving slowly with a 2 inch high speed bump.
im thinking bad spot on one of the tires, like a raised area on one part of the tires.my second thought is that maybe there is a high or low area on one of the rotors. i do all my own truck repairs myself unless i need to pull the engine.im getting to old for that work.heres the kicker. i put new front brake pads on 4 months ago and while i was at it i had discout tire slap some new good year wranglers on each wheel 4 months ago.

any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciatted.

PAUL IN PHOENIX.

Did you change your rotors when you changed your pads? I'd take a good look at your rotors, on both sides of the rotor. I had the same problem and I inspected my rotors and the backside of them were screwed. You may want to pull the caliper to get a good look at back of the rotor.
