off road lights, which kind?
i got a $300.00 ticket for - "Too Many Forward Facing Headlights"...
i had: headlights, foglights, 2 kc driving lights(slimlites), 4 kc longdistance(slimlites), and two little 55w wal'mart lights...
4 lights on at once is the limit in texas....

here in VA we can have a maximun of 6 lights used at one time, so i have my headlights, my stock foglights, and i can add 2 more, i jsut cant use fogs/aditional lights with my highs on the road

For the difference in price between the hella 500 and the KC lights even if I break 2 Hellas I still will have saved money over the KC's. From what I have heard from many people is that Hella is a good second choice if you don't want to spend $150 on KC's. You can get Hella's for about $60 with kit.

Surprised you got a ticket if you killed them ASAP. But then using them on-road is sorta asking for trouble, just as street racing etc is. But the DE ticket for no covers thing is a bit over the top IMHO..
it's cool... i wasn't being a dick... lol
the ticket sucked, but i sure don't play with em on the roads anymore...
i would hate to have solid covers on em, though... texas is pretty lax on most things...

I have 2 150watt "Dick Cepek Baja Laser" that I got off ebay for 45$ shipped (pair)
They are all metal, and mount pretty good. Only had to adjust them once in 4 monthes and thats because I didnt tighten them enough the first time.
I wanted the $$$ lights but for as much as I actually have them on...
I'm very happy with these. They came with covers.
dont mind the junk thats an install pic.
