Oil pump

Hi I’m new on here but just have a question. I own a 2o15 wildtrack and I believe the oil pumps are noted for going on these so I regularly change the oil but just wondering how often you would recommend actually changing the oil as I don’t want the pump to go but also don’t want to over do it and change to often.
cheers Tom

Welcome to the forum

We are in North America so could never get the T6 Rangers here, our Rangers were smaller and had different engine models, and only made from 1983 to 2011
We did just get the same body size T6 Rangers in 2019 but only has the 2.3l petrol engine model

Try Australian Ranger forums, they had the same model as yours, with same engines

For petrol engines 3,000miles is recommended oil change interval
For diesel, 7,500miles so over twice as long
Obviously USE has alot to do with it, if you are towing or hauling heavy loads then change the oil sooner than later

Synthetic oil can extend the interval for either, check with the maker of the synthetic oil
