I love it. Makes the cab much brighter at night with the lamps, extra storage space, was gonna paint it but said f it cus my truck is black and grey already... the guy forgot to send me the temp sensor so it's in the mail now... everything else on it works great. Thanks Mossyoak03 for write up.

Well I live in the OC, and it says OC, so I was thinking about just keeping it OC.

I got mine installed last week and really like how much more light I have at night now.

I put mine in a couple weeks ago. When I didnt have my temp sensor hooked up it read -40* and ICE. It flashed between the 2.

Now you need to get the auto dimming mirror. Its just 3 wires that tap into the OHC harness.

I have one for sale if you want it.

 

Auto dimmin mirror? Which mirror exactly... I'm confused.

 

^ it auto dims at night so that other peoples headlights dont blind you (basically works the same as the little tab on the bottom of ur current mirror but better!)

 

Oh that tab's been broken since I got the truck and my back window is double limo anyway, I can't even see out of it at night.

Does it give you the temp on the inside and outside? and if it does give the temp from the outside and transmits it inside to the led display, how does the sensor on the outside communicate with the sensor on the inside???? do you have to run a wire to the out side sensor? where is the outside sensor hidden?? under a fender or in the grill??

 

I believe it reads it from a scanner in front near the airbox?

 

outside on the front bumper behind it. and theres a wire that runs inside. All the rest is secret proprietary ford technical ****.
