Pick it apart

I saw this at the local dealership and thought you guys might have fun picking it apart like I did(in front of the sales person).

Why is it not what it says it is?

it's not an edge. it's a sport (replaced the edge) but they stuck a fx4 sticker on the sides. the true fx4's did not have a 4x4 sticker on the tailgate.

It's an Edge, someone stuck full size truck FX4 decals on it. they are way to big for the Ranger. I should have parked me truck next to it and taken a picture. There was that Edge and an XLT next to it and an XL next to it, all red.

It's not a Sport, it's an Edge. Sports didn't start until '06, this was an '04 or '05.

What a hardass, "picking apart" a ranger in front of a sales person. It isn't his nor the dealers fault the truck has FX4 stickers on it.

FX4's had those tow hooks. The Level II's had the chrome j-hooks.

That aint NOTHIN'!! Just a sticker. Look at the truck next to it....that's a little oddball of a truck. More of an oddball than that '04-05 Red Edge. Everything is correct except the bedside stickers.

I've seen ones that claim to be clear titled....01-03 XLT 4x4...powerdome hood, has the XL Grille treatment, has a 2wd XLT chrome front bumper with the 2wd valence, incorrect year rear bumper, wrong wheels for it's year, etc....true frankenstein. There was a local '03 Fx4 LII auto.....all sorts of wrong...painted bumpers, 2wd valence, black interior, had the powerdome, but running the 2wd grille. I love frankensteins...soooo many of them on Craigslist and eBay.
