Well ever since i lifted my 97 ranger and put some money in it, i got kinda tired of it so i started looking for another one local and found one im really interested in. Its a 98 reg. cab 2.5 auto (sucks its a auto but oh well) stepside. It has 160XXX miles on it but has been well taken care of. It was one of my buddies first truck during school. Its the same color as Marks old ext cab and has the same grill that it had. It has had timin belt changed, water pump changed and ball joints changed. He is asking 2500 for it. The body is fine besides in one place the clear is starting to flake off. I checked kbb and the private party value is between 2100 and 2700. Does this sound reasonable to you all? Is there anything i should look for in this model before i decide to get it so i can have 2 rangers lol...

 

Sounds like a good contender for the infamous "Project 5.0 Swap" hmmm

 

I was thinking of keeping it 4 banger and lettin the 97 become the project truck for the 302..or slamming the 98 and turbo the 97..so many options...
