If you have a silver truck with a gunmetal or dark grey/silver canopy I would like to see some pics. I want to paint my canopy a darker color but want to see what it looks like first. I will probably have the rockers done in line-x that is matched to the darker canopy after. Thanks!

 

Who ever closed this thread before please dont do it again, I know its the wrong place but way more people view the General Forum than the exterior one. I just want to see what a gunmetal type colored canopy looks like on a silver Ranger before I have mine painted which I want to do ASAP. Its just one thread, please let somebody respond.

Im painting it a different color becasue everybody else has it color matched, plus i wanted to do the rockers in gunmetal line-x as well. You guys think it will not look good?

Wow its great to get som many replies, thank you. Now not to be rude because I always appreciate the help here but I only want to see a silver Ranger with dark grey/gunmetal canopy or hear what you think about it.

 

 

Wow. You would probably be the first person I know that wants to intentionally paint the canopy a different color so that it doesn't match....
Doing something just for the sake of being different isn't always a good thing.

 

Yeah, i dont know what it will look like but i think if you do the rockers too it will look decent.



If you can imagine a cap that matches the rockers on tys 4x4 FTW's truck, i think that could look nice.

 

I think it would look extremely out of place. Theres a f150 around here with the tan trim like mine with the blue body and it has a tan topper, it looks like poo.

guys im not doing a random setup composed on blues and tan and biege, its a silver truck with a dark grey canopy! all i want is pictures and opinions that are relevant.

 

I don't think it will look good. Just color match it.

 

Well, there are no pictures of that exact thing, so go do it yourself and take pictures.

If you don't like peoples opinions then don't ask for them.
