pictur of dual exhaust from under truck

hey,
ive got a 40 series dumped right now, and was thinkin of making dual exhaust. ive got a welder and some old tail pipes off of my 88 mustang. its a si/so muffler so id need a "Y". any one have a pic of underneath the truck to see how the pipe is ran? id like to just use those prefab piece from somewhere like advanced auto. i was thinking i could use the original over the axle piece and split it there, but im now sure. any help is great.

this isnt from under the truck but it still works. i dont have a spare in mine cause it wont fit. if you still have yours you might have to route it a little differently around the spare.
with no axle...can see from the muffler back

The extra weight of another 8ft length of 2" piping and lost back-pressure would out weigh any (if any) performance gained (for "true duals").

Now if he had a 5.0 or 4.6, Off-Road X/H Pipe or nothing.

So do it right or dont do it.

While he's down there with his Y pipe he should add a couple pep boys glass packs and some flamed exhaust tips.

Why are you being a douche? So what if he wants dual pipes out the back, let him do it. He has a 5.0 mustang for the true duals

IMO 2.3, 2.5, 3.0 AND 4.0 Ranger sound GREAT with duals... so go ahead! thats the next mod on my 4.0.... Go for it! If some one has a problem with a mod that you are doing to YOUR truck, the truck YOU pay for tell them to off! We all have our own opinions and I think you should do what you want not what dill-hole the R-F jerk wants... just my opinion.
