Power Steering Fluid or Strawberry Milkshake?
The before (right) and after (left)
Any ideas as to what would cause this? I tend to suspect water was introduced but how do you get water into the PS system? Could it be some type of conditioner or treatment previous owner tried?

Right milkshake sure does NOT look like MerconV, or even old dirty MerconV, from the PS !
Could be the result of a SnakeOil additive or simply the wrong fluid by PO.
So I'd sure try to flush all of that out with fresh MerconV & hope no damage was done.
