Power Window Switch Problem

The passenger side power window switch is bad. I've called around and at the dealerships they want about 50 dollars. I found a junkyard that has one for 20 dollars. But I don't know if it works or not. There is a no refund on electrical parts. I'm afraid that if I buy the junkyard switch and it doesn't work that I'll be paying 70 dollars for the new switch. What everyone's opinion on the issue.

You've stated the problem pretty clearly.

Go for the sure thing - if you're sure the switch is bad, and you want to be sure you have one that works, go for the new one.

Hey Bert, You don't have info on your truck listed. There may be an aftermarket unit available depending on what you drive. I like posting my rigs in a signature. This way others can see what I have and won't have to post it when needed. Maybe even put a pic of it below your forum name. I'm an info *****.LOL
