Putting a 3.0 out of auto truck into a 3.0 manual truck?

I was wondering if the engine from an automatic truck will bolt to my manual trans in my truck with no problems and if so is there anything aside from the clutch I would need to change over. Really don't want to buy the engine if this won't work

Yes, the 3.0l Vulcan engine from any year Ranger can be used in any other year Ranger 3.0l or B3000, transmission type doesn't matter

What does matter is wiring, fuel system and EGR
If the engines are not the same years then plan on swapping the upper and lower intakes, to match wiring, fuel system and injector sizes
1991-1994 used distributor
1995 and up used crank sensor and cam sensor
1991 to 1997 used 30psi fuel system, 1998 and up use 60psi fuel system

1995-1998 use 3 wire cam sensor, 1999 and up 2 wire, different signals, have to swap them to match computer

3.0l had EGR in random years and used Knock sensors instead

3.0l Ranger also had regular gas or flex fuel models, this only mattered for the intake manifold and injector size, the cavity in the heads were slightly different but won't matter in a full engine swap

The 3.0l Vulcan had a tendency to get a coolant leak from the timing chain cover, so have a good look or just change that gasket while engine is out
Also a good idea to do oil pan gasket and rear main seal while engine is out

Yes, if both are 1995 then plug and play, no parts swaps needed except flywheel for manual trans

Rangers didn't get flex fuel for 3.0l until 1998
