Quality Seat Covers?

All,

I'm looking for the best seat covers money can buy. So to speak.

I saw synthetic leather covers on Ebay going for 175. But I'm becoming skeptical of ebay. I'd like to find a set that fit well and made of good material so they won't wear out quickly.

Any suggestions?

Joe

wet okley is the best seat covers available. their expensive tho. I bought a set of custom made covers out of cuba? anyways i really like the backs, they say Ranger in ranger font and have ford in a blue oval. tho the seat part was a lil shabby. best bang for the buck tho are the wet okley, i saw em on jeff's blue tremor (from clarence ny) and their pretty spiffy.

But unfortunately, with the Wet Okole seats, they hold water... the inner layer is waterproof, but when they get wet, and you sit on them, you have a wet bottom!

I got the "leather" seats off Ebay a couple years ago. Black with grey interior. Very thick "leather" material and plenty of cushion material (foam). They are well manufactured with quality material and heavy duty stitching. They wash well with soap and water and they've been sat on with screwdrivers in my back pocket and never ripped or got damaged.
I've owned my share of seat covers in my past vehicles, but these by far have been the best.

My seat covers look like these without the pocket behind the seat. Not sure if this is even the same seller, but I know I paid a few bucks for them. Here's an Ebay link to it.

Wow, very nice site. I saw the 94 Ranger they have as the example and the interior looks really nice. I was thinking charchol insides with black outsides, and an EDGE logo to boot.

I was also looking at this place http://www.rufftuff.com/ and was kinda interested in their saddle blanket style seat covers. Yeah, I know its kinda cheesy, but I like the retro style too.

As for getting a pair of comfortable seats. I have a 2005 with stock 60/40's right now. I dislike them very much. Poor visibility for me, and very uncomfortable. I have a set of 2002 seats in the barn. They look like they've been around the block. But I like the style, and they're more comfortable than the new stiff seats. But since they have some blemishes, I'd like to cover them up.

And as always, I'll throw this in here. The 2002 seats I have, they were intended for a regular cab. Since I have an extended cab, they will not bolt right in. I think my plan now is to fabricate an adapter for the rear holes since the front holes still bolt up. Would the Ford Dealership be able to do something like that for me? I'm not a machinist so I do not have the tools to do something like that.

Those look exactly like the Wet Okole ones...they seem to offer the same material colors (including the flower patterns) as well as the same logos from the same company....I am thinking they are exactly the same fit and quality at the Wet Okole ones...

But either way, they are both great looking versions
