Quasi Bad Fan Clutch
So over the last few months, I have had the worst luck with my ranger.
My fuel economy tanked, then a lady ran a stop sign and nearly totaled it. Lucky insurance covered it since it's a 98 XLT 2.5L.
I've been racking my brain with this fuel economy thing for months and have checked/replaced everything the makes remote sense.
Now I get my Ranger back from the Collision center in a few days. I've known for a while now that the Fan Clutch is stuck in engaged mode. How bad exactly would this affect my Fuel economy?
Need to know cause I'm going off to college and will need to save as much money as possible.
