Question about mud flap

Yes and no. Yes you can take it off, however if I remember correctly, there may be a whole in the wheel well. It's been so long though since I've taken mine off, that I honestly don't remember for sure. But, if the hole is a concern, a plug will work wonders. It's really a rather small hole though.

Yes, and No.

When I had mine off last summer, there is the black "plug / trim tab" thingy that goes on the outter side of the flap that shows, and keeps the flap"on" the truck. Without having the "plug" in it, you would see the hole where the plug goes.

Even with the hole, the truck will look better afterwards. For people who keep their trucks a long time, those mud flaps are a rust problem waiting to happen. They scratch away paint and collect mud. When I took mine out I put some body plugs in their place to give it a finished look.
