Quick question about tires and wheels

I have an 04 with the stock 16x7" 5 spoke wheels... Currently i have 245/75r16 on which is the stock tire size... My question is how wide of tires can i fit on the stock rim... i would like some km2s in 33/12.5 and if the stock rim doesnt work how wide will the rim have to be?

I'm running 11.50's on the same wheels you have. People have ran 12.5's on them but you'll have to air down a good bit to get close to even tread wear. If you were to buy new rims I would go with 15x8's. Tires will be cheaper and you can fit the 12.50's easily.

You can put 12.50's on the stock rim. They may not wear the best but they will fit. I would say that a 8" wide is the minimum I would put 12.50's on and 10" wide wheels being ideal.

Pretty good so far. I mean I haven't been on anything major. But just a few small trails and all this crazy snow and they've done great.

Gotcha... Yeah im thinking of getting KM2s cause ive heard nothing but good reviews... I would like to get the 33/12.50s so i would have a larger footprint and i could get more traction... But i like my stock wheels too much... I think if i do change ill go with the Cragar soft 8s 15x8.... The 15x8s is what i was thinkin of putting on my jeep Plus they are pretty cheap

The only thing about them is that they're pretty heavy. And if you're going to a 33 and a steel wheel without a tune or anything you'll notice a big difference in power.

Those will help you out. With my tunes and 4.10's my truck feels about the same as it was stock before I tuned it.

$115 from bamachips. I'm not sure if he's still doing Rangers though. I was on their website the other day and all I saw was Mustang stuff. Somebody else might be able to give you more info though. If he can't do the tunes for you Rouge has the tunes for like $75 I think.
