Quick sell price for my truck? pics

Ive had my truck for sale locally for a couple weeks now with not much intrest. I just want to see if I am overpriced or what. We are expecting our first baby soon and I need something with a real back seat. I'd like opinions on a price to sell it quick.

2002 Edge 4x4 supercab
4.0 auto 4:10's 60k miles
3" BL Like new 33x12.50 BFG ATs
line-x explorer gauges black headlights
comes with camper, bedrail caps, and toolbox

I would sell the shell seperate, you'll probably get more money that way and I wouldn't want to buy a truck with a shell that didn't match.

exactly. IMO and obviously trent's that cap is killing the truck, take that thing off for a few weeks and see if it sells then, if you find a really interested buyer then offer the cap as an additional.

a cap itself is a big turn down on the truck IMO, i have no use for one. now one non matching cap is a huge killer on the truck.

Thanks guys, I was asking 8,500 for the truck which I thought was a fair price. The cap wasnt on there when I had it up for sale. We went camping last week and I just havnt had anyone to help me get it back off yet. It usually has a toolbox and bed rail caps on it. I guess the market for trucks just isnt great at this time. I dont mind keeping it, but it would be nice to have something with a real back seat with the baby coming.

Body lift, larger tires and not having the front bumper line-up to the body properly.. You MIGHT see 5 grand for it.

2004-05 FX4's and LVL2's are going for just under 10 with the same miles.

Endless someone is looking for a lifted truck, that Body lift is going to hurt your sale.

I work at an Auto-Auction where we take FordMotorCredit cars/trucks and re-sell them. I AM SERIOUS with the figure I gave you.

Looking at todays listings, there were 6 02-02-03 Rangers similar to yours. Not s single one snatched over 4 grand. All but 1 had under 50k miles. 1, an 03 lvl2 Twin sticks snagged a mere 3800.. ( I almost bought it to go with the 06 I snagged for 5grand ) it had 37,000 on the odo.

If someone offers you 5 grand, RUN, don't walk and get rid of it.

I sold my 01 edge 4.0L a few weeks ago, it had 156,000 with no faults,for sale for five days and i got $4,500 cash,(privite sale) i was happy with that!!!, then ford gave me $3,000 for owning a ford it was win win for me.

I TRIED to buy that but my account didn't have the sufficient funds to buy the 06, a 00 Jeep cherokee AND the LvL2. I wish I wouldnt have bid on the Jeep as I didn't win it and the lvl2 passed me bye

Not everyone can get onto the ' Auction ' side of things and why some might see .. say.. 5 grand for the truck listed here as a ' good ' price.

I'm sure a FULLY LOADED F150 , 05-06-07 4x4 with under 40k miles being sold for 8000$ would ask ' whats wrong with it ? '. I saw about 50-60 of those moved today ranging from 5-10,000$ Even at 12,500$, thats a STEAL from an original sticker of 35,000-ish.

My truck has 60,000 on the odo. The engine has less then 10, the tranny was just rebuilt and put in 2 weeks ago. The paint doesn't have a scratch ( In fact, a clearcoat is drying as I type this ).. I would be LUCKY to fetch 2-3 grand for it.

The ' value ' of things changes per location as well. Having an Auction house with cars imported from all over the states to Western NY keeps costs of used/prior lease cars/trucks down.

Thanks guys, sold it today. It's been a great truck, and I enjoyed owning it. I would have kept it, but I'd have had to put a carseat in the front and my wife would have been sitting in the little jumpseats when we drove it. That wouldnt be fun. I'm still going to look for me a cheap 2wd 4cyl reg cab to beat around in.

Damn I wish I was in the market I would so totally buy that ****!!! What about painting the cap with some rattle can flat black? It would match a little better.
