replacing Leaf Spring Shackle ?

anybody have any experience w/ this? read a little about it thru a google search, sounds pretty involved.

Pretty simple. You can use a sawzall or cut off wheel, I like the torch since we get a lot of rust up here.

not too bad, just use a angle grinder to grind off old rivets, put on new shackle bracket, then pry up the leaf springs and bolt in place

i didn't think the actual wheel, anyways once you cut it off how do you tighten the top bolt? there is no way to get in there

on the current setup the bolt has a stop nut so try and save them. You just get it started then it locks itself into place.

I tried to sig that but......Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 4 line(s). Long text may have been implicitly wrapped, causing it to be counted as multiple lines. WTF....
