The only thing I liked about that truck was the silver and green paintjob. That body would look sick on a slammed truck.

why go that big and it not be practical at all? at least make a truck you could take off road or flex.

honestly pretty dumb in my opinion... for all the money he put in that truck he didnt even swap out the factory amber marker lights to something clear or..not orange. and the stock black valance? on top of that the truck is not proportionate at all. rangers shouldnt be lifted that high, there skinny. not like a fullsize truck that would probably look better. also. are those rear drum brakes? not very intelligent on a truck with that much rolling mass.

disc or drum.. they would still be too weak for that much rolling mass.

i have bigger axles (i think) and i still cant lock up my 35s all the time.

That truck in a slalom would be like a drunk guy doing the 'walk in a straight line' test.

= Epic fail

touche. but wouldnt switching to significantly larger than factory discs be more efficient for slowing that much truck? say 14 inch rotors with 4 or 6 piston calipers?

That truck is purely a trailer queen. Im pretty sure its not even street legal, not with all the strick Cali laws. I would love to have that much time and money to put into my truck........ then Beard would have some competition for top truck!!!!

going to a 14 bolt with disc brakes would significantly increase stopping power..

not some dinky half ton axle

hmm. well i geuss i learn something everyday. i didnt really pay attention to the axle being a half ton one and plus i dont really know much about axles and stuff although its probably safe to say bigger is better. but i couldnt really distinguish by looking at the picture, so i thought id throw in what i know and see what people said. so thanks for enlightening me.

i'm not sure where an AMC 20 ranks on the list, but a GM 12 bolt is a half ton axle.. a c-clip axle at that.

those are probably 50 somethin inch tires.. w/e call me stupid but its not enough axle for those tires. show truck or not

Yup. Function over Fashion.

I would rather make it around in a truck, drive it everyday and then be able to tear the **** out of trails then drive it everyday and only be able to climb up onto curbs and only driving on pavement.

Trucks like that are really just a waste of money. If it were functional then it would sell quicker if they were trying to (which he couldn't cause he had to part it out) and it would get more attention if it was functional.

I think the biggest thing that makes it look so goofy is that the Ranger is a fairly narrow truck to begin with, so the height and width proportions are just way out of whack.
