Did anyone happen to catch Ranger Resurection on Spike TV? There was a post a while back about it and it was on today.

It was on some 4x4 show. All they did on it was convert a reg. cab into an ext. cab and add roll bars... and now i have to tune in next week. lol.

 

dammit, i wanted to watch that too! for some reason tho, i was thinking that the end of january was still a couple weeks away, lol.

 

i never get a chance to watch the powerblock anymore....damn work schedule....

 

i saw it yesterday (saturday) and it looked like they were goinh to put the engine in the bed?? and the extended cab was just the body panels welded on the reg cab... kinda pointless but there was another episode on today that i got on tivo and will watch later... might be the same one though???

 

Yeah, I recorded it on my DVR. Haven't watched it all the way through yet, but they are putting it on a frame rack, and will be putting in a tube frame in the rear. Will be a full off-road build.

 

Ok, watching it now.
They are taking a late 90's regular cab ranger, that has been wrecked and stripped besically to the cab and frame.
They are gonna put in a 347 stroker engine.
Will build it all on a frame bench, and they will be building a tube chassis, 4 link rear suspension, and coil over suspension.
They are making into an extended cab(at least have the side panels in place), and have cut off the front and rear frame rails. And basically finish off the episode starting to put in a roll cage.

 

that extremem 4x4 show is getting stupidier and stupidier...they put a 11" air ride kit with 38s on a ram for street use...WTF.

 

I saw it and was so happy they were doin a Ranger! I don't like the hosts tho, far too hokey...not so much pokey..but hokey for sure. And that Canadian accent drives me insane....

WHat times does it air cause i wanna see it cause i wanted to see the first part i want to get the second part.

 

It comes on during the Power Block on Spike. Locally it comes on at 12:30. I still think the little blonde is a hottie, but she did lose some cool points on the last show. She referred to weld spatter as 'weld berries'?!?
