Rangers time is over

Well Im putting the ranger up for sale. To much of a hassle is broke down everyother week. I really like it but its a money pit i got more in repairs then i paid for the truck and i paid 4k. And thats with doing all the repairs myself. Saturday i was driving and saw this really nice 2000 dodge ram 1500 sport ext cab. she wanted 10k i drove it around, this thing is nice. its lifted not sure how much, dual exhaust, 5.9l v8, cowl hood, cd, fully loaded its nice. Its got practically no rust on it due to the ladys son owned it and was killed in the marines and he rarelly drove it. i ended up getting it for 9k. im really happy with it and hopefully it will b good to me. First dodge ever owned in the family its always been ford and a few pontiacs. but heh we will see what happens.

Yeah a good friend of mine has an 01 ram 3500 with an diesel/auto. He's had the tranny replaced once already and just got it back from the shop(needed over $1000 in work to the tranny computer and ecu). It's only got 60,000mi. Hope yours works out for you, I guess.

dodge's are nice looking trucks, but mechanically they are junk espically the tranny's. I had 2 mid 90's dakota's before my ranger and i dumped over 2 grand into one tranny, and it still didnt shift. good luck though!

r u guys serious ive been loyal to the ford family and have always loved fords. i first owned a 88 f-150, i then bought a 67 cougar as a project car with my step dad, next got a 93 crown vic couldnt take driving a car as a dd, so i bought the ranger. all the vehicles my family has owned have been fords besides my moms recent gp gtp purchase. i would take a ford over anything else and really do love the rangers all i was saying is that the one i got from a dealer that happened to close 2 days after i bought the truck was a pos. i got it for 4K i have 4200 in repairs on it and its never been in the shop. i have been looking for months for a new f-150 if u search ull find a thread on it. now just cuz i bought a dodge that i got a great deal on with tons of add ons (first non stock vehicle ive bought) everyone is gonna flame me i was sick of everyone telling me dodge sucked and didnt want to waste my time with a huge reply cuz im not 10 and fight over the internet so i type something quick and then u say i have low IQ? I believe i have provided helpful info to many people on the site, have wasted my gas to go look at vehicles for people on the site, and was going to for zach but u decided to go the day b4 i was gonna and then my thread just gets trashed. u dont know how low of miles this truck has u dont know how great of shape it is in its has no rust on the body or engine only visible rust found was on the driveshaft. You dont know anything about this vehicle so dont hate on it or me. I wanted to stick around even after getting rid of the ranger cuz this is the best forum ihave seen. but now seeing how twofaced people can be after i dont buy a ford idk that i want to. Im out peace.

No, you got out of a ranger and got a real truck, thats all.

Its just jealousy...and kids games. Now this will b an arguing post because everyones going to act childish and be like oh Dodge sucks....You hook a Cummins turbo to a Powerstroke, the cummins would pull the powerstroke around no sweat strain or pain. I drive one every day (Dodge that is), all a ford is, is a F**ked Over Repaird Dodge anyways

Good buy m an! Im happy for you! Dodge is my next truck hands down I dont give a **** what site im on

I drove all of the diesels (silverado/superduty/cummins ram) and in order of the best performing were the dodge--->chevy--->ford.. that cummins just had ***** compared to the rest, and it was even an automatic! Good luck with your truck man, and get some pics up! :P
