What Zach was saying is that your Ranger was not a POS, it was 13 years old things are going to break and it does require maintanence.

Just like most everyone else, I had a Dodge and it was the most unreliable piece of crap ever being 2 years old. I wish you the best of luck with your new vehicle and I don't blame you for getting rid of your Ranger, at some point it just isnt economical to keep them.

But you came off as saying basically " boohoo my 93 isn't working perfectly it's completely worthless and should run like it's brand new, so screw it I'm going to buy a Dodge" Compared to a few mispelled words on an internet board, which one seems less intelligent. It's not like he's writing his thesis

i have a 93 4.0 4x4 ext cab,and i love it,i had to fix it,but it is part of owning something, you have to fix it when it breaks.my uncle has a 2000 dodge 2500 v8 with 55.000 miles. and been through two engines and he barley drives it.rather have a dodge than a chevy though.

Congrats on the new truck. I will probally stick with Ford, but my secnd choice is Dodge. My best friend has had 3 Rams a '74(That was a sweet truck), an '96, and an' 05(his current truck), All of them have/are been great trucks. Good Luck with it adn if you decide to stick around post some pics. when you get a chance.

Ill pass....I drive one home every night 7 days a week...Company perks, why spend 30k on a new one when you get to drive it home every night, and unlimited fuel?!

Congrats on the purchase!! In regards to an earlier post, what does hooking drawbars and pulling have ANYTHING to do with which truck is better?? Lets see here, it is all a game of who loses traction first, plain and simple. I laugh to myself everytime someone says, "Lets chain 'em up then and pull, then we'll see the REAL truck." May demonstrate who's torque band peaks first, but still...Waste of time... And yes, I like all three diesels, I'm not just picking on one...

Why's everybody talking about diesels, he is getting a 5.9, anyways congrats on the truck good luck with it. I have found every vehicle sucks in the wrong hands, they all break.

hey as soon as mine hit 120K miles mine was a huge money pit, I had to change starter, battery, spark plugs and wires, and brake lines, shoes, and calipers...and some more stuff...after that huge hump mines running better than my friends 2004 EDGE, Which has been in the shop 4-5 times...and after tonight I'm gonna be battery hunting again...mine just died, spewed acid and crap in engine BAY
