Rebuild Questions

I've had one Ranger or more for most of my life. They are great trucks and I don't ask much of mine. This one is a 2007 2wd 2.3 auto trans. Just a bit over 180,000. It's been burning some oil for several years. Runs great though. We did leak down checks and so on and came to the conclusion the rings were either worn or the ring lands were crapped up. Not enough to really work about but I bought a low mileage replacement engine online a couple of years ago and fogged the cylinders wrapped it in plastic and put it in my shed. The transmission has been shifting late and hard for some time until recently when it takes a long time to go into gear, and slips. It's at the point that something must be done so I bought a rebuilt trans and torque converter, and PRDNL switch via Autozone. Anyway, I'm going to replace both the engine and trans. i figure since the engine is not rebuilt it needs the normal maintenance items and wanted your opinion on what I've planned to do. Trans cooler (stock radiator cooler has to be bypassed or the rebuilt trans warranty would be void), Flush the coolant, replace water pump, thermostat and housing, serpentine belt and tensioner, front and rear main seals, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, all the filters, plugs, wires, head gaskets, intake gaskets, timing chain cover gaskets, head gasket.radiator hoses, heater hoses, fuel filter. I plan on cleaning the throttle body and MAF and rust-converting the engine compartment. I'd already had to replace the drive shaft and u joints when the drive shaft failed because the aluminum insulation was rubbing on it. Already done brakes, calipers, rubber brake hoses, and the suspension bushings, tie rod ends, control arms and bushings. The only other thing I can think of is changing the rear diff. oil and checking to make sure the axle seals and pinion seals are holding up.

Am I missing anything? The truck has always been reliable and I want this work to last for a long time
