So I recently acquired an Fx4 shifter and got it installed today with the boot, and a hurst ball. I also cut out some rubber mats to put in my bed to keep stuff from sliding. Lastly, just posting some pictures of the new bikes in the garage. The blue 2012 Husaberg TE 300 is mine, and the 2012 KTM 300xc-w is my dads. I love my bike and worked for two summers to afford it.

So the fx4 shifter DOES fit with that cupholder setup etc....and she doesn't hit anywhere going thru the gears? I've got a 2011 2.3L I'd like to get one of those sticks for.

Mine rubbed pretty bad when I put it in. I had to trim a good amount out in order for it to not rub. Only on the bottom left portion of the hole though.

Whatd you have to trim? the lower area where the passenger airbag switch is? This might be a mod that has to wait until my warranty is up then...

 

Mine rubbed on the shifter bezel. But come to think of it, I believe it was due to the shifter extension from the body lift...not the FX4 shifter. So you will probably be OK

 

just do a hurst with a fx4 level 2 ****, and yes they can still be ordered from ford paid $60 for mine

 

I didn't have to trim anything to fit, it all fit perfect as it was. I didn't want to spend that much on the fx4 ball so I went with the hurst.
