Redline Tuning HoodShocks Mishaps "Help"

Hey guys recieve my wonderful shocks the other day, I went to do the driverside forst and the bracket does not sit flush like it should, i have a 06 powerdome hood and the elite shocks, I measured at 25 1/2 like it stated and got the riveter in, but the gun would not break the leg from the tab, man pissed me off, so i took my dremel to it to release the pin. npw i have a hole thats bigger than a 3/16 rivet.

My question is are their bigger rivets i can buy to fill that hole, I mean the 3/16 would no longer work their now, because the hole had stretched from me try to get the tab to release before . and i BOUGHT this riverter gun at Harbor freight, Man this thing is cheap, Do you guys recomment a riverter gun that is airtool/compressor or should i stick with a manual one and just go to home depo? thanks

If theres room, just use a carriage bolt in it to secure the shock mount?

Just get a better one from Lowe's or Home Depot or something.... the cheap ones seem to bend at the top before they finish the job. You can get 1/4" rivets so that part shouldn't be a problem...

Definitely invest in a decent rivet gun. Harbor freight tools are horrible.
