Rims are peeling (UPDATED WITH PICS)

The coating has been peeling off in the middle of the rims around the center cap and it seems to keep peeling more away from the center of the rim. My question is, will ford cover this under warranty by replacing the rims of what? It's an 05 with 29K on it. I have an extended warranty as well. I don't have any pics as of now. I can post some tomorrow if that would help. Thanks.

These are pics of the rims on the drivers side. The ones on the passenger side aren't as bad. Hopefully they will replace them. They will only get worse in this condition.

your best bet is to try to take it into the dealer and see if they will cover it. depending on where you live they may or may not. most likely they wont cover it.

if your truck is still under warranty, then DEFINATELY take it back.....if it isn't under warranty, then you should start looking for some new wheels....

Yep, still under warranty. 3yr 36000 is still good + I have the 5yr extended warranty so I guess things will be in my favor then.

I would definitely try to get that covered under warranty. That shouldn't happen unless you've been trying to pry off the center cap with a screwdriver or something.
