If NH does adopt a sales tax sometime in the future (and I think it will have to), I would be in favor of it being implemented as a VAT of sorts. I really hate the hidden tax factor you deal w/ in other states. It's especially anoying on big ticket items.. Like most of you don't dodge it via mail/Internet order these days anyhow..
