Ranger Trailhead?

My friend has a 2000 ranger on 36's with 3" fabtech spindles and 3" body lift. It is 2wd and ive always wondered how the 2000 has edge spindles and torsion bar set up. Is there somethin in 2000 they did called a Trailhead cause i searched and thats what was coming up. My friend doesnt even know why it took edge spindles but it took him forever to find the right ones. Does anyone know?

that is before he got the 36" IROKS haha

The Trailhead was not promoted well at all. Many dealer personnel have never seen one or even heard of it. It was definitely the predecessor of the 2WD Edge and was definitely 2000 only.

Anyone have any details on specs for the trailhead? I just got a 2000 trailhead 3.0l 2WD and the wheels are pitted beyond repair. I want to get new wheels, but I don't know if the wheel offset is the same as the standard 2wd or if its the same as the 4wd.

I found this article with some details, but it didn't say anything about the offset:

I think I found the answer to my own questoin. Below is a link to a PDF with all the specs for all 2000 Rangers, but still no specific info on the Trailhead edition.

Havent seen a Trailhead in long time but I think they just had the standard "teardrop" wheels which are 16x7 with 4.5" backspacing. I think that makes it a +13mm
