BTW it helps if you kink the hose when you stick it in the can.
you can only let so much air/liquid in before it will kill it.
i found it works best if you kink it on the motor side of the hose.

I think I may do this actually I have a donor motor that was just installed in my truck feels a little slugish sometimes, so it's definitely getting the Sea-Foam treatment along with my girlfriends Civic.

It's going to be hoot driving down the highway with a puff of white smoke trailing the truck almost like a huge blunt on wheels.

I ran the other 1/2 a can through the rescue truck this afternoon. This time, the engine was not hot and it actually worked. The smoke that poured out of this thing was insane!!

My friend read about it on a honda forum, and we put 1/3 can in his accord in the booster line, his car had over 200k miles on it, and it smoked insanely. It started up fairly easily, smoked for about 10 min, and smoked the whole way home to his house, which is about 5 miles...was fun! haha
I put some in my 4.0L ranger and it smoked a tiny bit, it only has 48k miles. I had the EGR engine code so I figured it may clean some carbon out of somewhere and maybe get rid of the code, but it didn't. It does make the engine run better though.

hah thats pretty cool coming out of the tips like that, doesnt look as cool when it just comes out of a dumped exhaust-like mine, it seems like my truck smoked more, but i just let it idle for a couple mins before giving up and flooring it down a straight away

With engine warm, slowly pour 1/3 to 1/2 pint through carburetor or throttle body throat. (If vehicle is port injected slowly pour SEA FOAM through direct manifold vacuum line that will feed all cylinders, possible sources are P.C.V. valve or brake booster line.) This will pull SEA FOAM down on top of the pistons and to the back of the intake valves to dissolve carbon. Turn ignition off. Restart engine after 5 minutes. If severe carbon build up is apparent, use more Sea Foam as previously directed. Make sure exhaust is well ventilated when using Sea Foam in these various ways as fumes will be extreme for a short time.
does this mean take the intake tube off, and pour it straight into the throttle body while idling?

^I think that would probably be for throttle body injected (TBI)engines, but yeah thats what it sounds like you do..

Any of you had experiences with fouling out your spark plugs? I've used Seafoam via brake booster hose on our Geo and it didn't foul the plugs. I was fearing it out since it smoked so damn much but this was also my first time using Seafoam via brake booster. -Mike-

The first time I put it in our rescue truck, I think the engine was so hot that stuff evaporated before doing anything. Seriously, you can fry an egg on the hood of this truck. The second time, I pulled it outside and poured it in before the engine was heated up. Smoked like hell!

There seems to be some confusion here...

The brake booster is "powered" by a vacuum coming from the intake manifold. As the air rushes past the opening for the brake booster line, it goes down into the engine, pulling in all the air behind it. This creates a vacuum in the brake booster line.

Remove this line from the BRAKE BOOSTER, leaving it still connected to the engine. Once the engine is running, you'll notice a loud sucking sound from this hose. Use that suction to ingest the SeaFoam.

I've been running it thought the tank (every 5000) for a couple of years, but have always been concerned about the plugs and possible damage to the cats by "ingesting" it. It seems like you would send a lot of crap through the exhaust.

that's kinda my thinking but i can't say as i haven't experienced this yet. Seafoam says on there cans that it is safe for cats and cleans them as well. -Mike-

After you use it, even if you don't put it in the crankcase, do you need to change your oil after? I might try this today...

Yes. If you put it in your crank case or have the engine ingest it via a vacuum line, you need to change your oil afterwards.
