Icon4 seat removal help!

I am getting black seats out of an fx4 at a junkyard right now and i cant get the rear bolt on the passenger seat left rail....out of 4 bolts that hold the seat down i can't get that one off because someone stripped it and im pissed off i can't get it out.

any idea how i can get this bolt out? its VERY rusty i got a bit of it out and saw it was rusty but there is no way i can get this thing out. It is a Torx55 bolt so i don't really have many options.....any ideas?!?!

Thanks.

I myself would weld a nut on top of it and then take it out. The heat from the weld would help to.

Big set of vice grips? and a hammer? If you can get a grinder or dremel down to it then I would just cut the head off it.

that or unbolt the seat from the rails and use your old ones, they should be the same.

If you have a good file, make two flat spots on each side of the bolt and grab a wrench.

Some penetrating lube and wack it with a hammer for a few min then heat up the metal around the bolt. Normally they slide right out.

A good sharp drill bit and a good cordless drill with a fresh battery. A little WD-40 maybe and you should be good.

just start with a small drill bit then get bigger and keep drilling till you knock the head of the bolt off. then lift the seat out dont use those damn screw extractors they always break and cause more problems

Why not grind the top off till your down to the tab that it goes through then you can just pull up on the seat leaving the rest in the truck
