2001 super cab rear panel removal??

I am still trying to figure out how to get the rear speakers out on my 2001 super cab. It looks like the whole panel has to come out> Is there a trick to it??

There is a "how to" in the how to section...

No such thing in the how to section!!

Thanks for info..but I already had tried all the searching before I posted my question.
I will ask a body shop or stop at Best Buy auto dept. I should just have let them do it . then If they break the clips they can fix them!!!
If I do find out I willbe sure to post.

I too, am wondering how to get the back panels off my '01 extended cab. I just finished replacing my fronts. I took a bit over an hour and was much easier than I had expected it would be. For the backs, I"m scratching my head. I'm sure it has something to do with the belts coming out.

first, you have to take off the seat belt mount on the door (the upper one). Get a panel popper and pull it off. thats it!

I attempted to take the mounting bolt from the top seatbelt attachment point, but that sucker wouldn't budge, regardless of which way I tried to turn it. Is there some magic involved with getting it to turn? It looks like maybe a special nut, but some stuff in the middle, possibly so it doesn't lossen on its own.

Just takes some good old-fashioned muscle if I recall correctly.

Thanks Kyle. It's really on there tight, almost acting likes it's not supposed to turn. Can someone confirm that's is just a wrench/socket and some muscle to get this top attachment point off. I don't want to break something that renders the seatbelt unusable.
