Should I buy this axle?

I can get a 2008 8.8 4.10 ls rear end with 10 inch brakes and 30k miles for 600 dollars...I have 373s and need 410s..am I gonna run into any problems cuz I currently have 9inch brakes? It should be a direct swap over minus new shoes and drums..

How is the ls in the 08s?? Is it a torsen??

Pros and cons..?

Discuss please..i plan on picking it up in the next few days unless someone convinces me otherwise

It should work. The 10 drums work fine on 15" rim...so if thats what you have or larger you'll be fine.

Direct swap, it will have the regular trac-lok. Torsen is FX4 LII only. 9 to 10 inch brakes is direct swap, braking will improve. $600 is a little more than I would spend but the low mileage is a win.

Anyone got any tips I should look out for when I install it?? This will be my first axle swap..I don't think it'll be too bad though.

Make sure you get the right fluid for that axle (4 quarts) and you will need Friction Modifier for the Trac-Lok if the fluid you use doesn't already have it.

Besides that it should be super simple.
