Should i lift my 2WD Ranger?

I wanted to put 33 inch tires on my ranger with a 4 inch lift but i learned with the year and model my ranger is, I can only get a 3 inch lift. So should I just get 30 inch tires and stay stock height, or go with the 3 inch and 33 inch tire upgrades? Just looking for opinions.

30X9.50 fills the wheel wells nicely with a little concern about rubbing. If in doubt just use some AT 235X75X15 tires. They really beef up the appearance, fill the wheel wells nicely and you have no lift issues. Save your money for gas and enjoy your truck. The 3.0 gets crappy enough gas mileage as it is without heavier tires that probably will serve no real useful purpose other than stroking your ego...and 4WD guys will know what you're doing.

But, on the other hand, it IS your truck and your money so go for it if you want to.
