cable type snow chains

I have two wheel drive and checking on buying some snow chains. I read you have 4wheel drive. Is their an advantage of the cable verus the chain snow tires? Thanks in advance

Sorry for the late reply. I have personally never dealt with chains. I bought the cables since the owner's manual said to only use cables. Not sure about advantages of each, other than I think cables may be easier to put on.

You can typically find snow chains in stores that are outfitted for winter wear.

They are available everywhere mostly because they're an important safety feature for people living up north. Just make sure you have them in your car or truck's emergency kit so they don't turn into a critical item when the time comes to use them. To find available chains, just search "chains" on Google Shopping where you'll be able to see the different sizes and weights of the product which will help you figure out which ones are best suited for your vehicle type, tire size, and load weight capacity.
