so, first things first, torsen FTL, 4wL FTL, fx4 lvl II FTL,

truck: 0, snow: 1...

went snowboarding today... decided to show off, parked half ontop of a snow plow pile... rear tire was up about a foot and a half, front was around there, a little lower... decided to drive over the snow pile as driving out... front tire goes off a ridge on the pile, and frame, cross member, lower A arm, skidplate, rocker pannel, on the drivers side, in snow... bout an hour of digging, and no luck, and a guy comes over with an expedition and pulled me out (luckly had my tow strap, and d-ring reciever... here's the pics...

where it was: looking back to the rear tire holes, the farthest back ones was where it was parked, the next one up was where it was stuck, don't think the front tire hole is in this shot...

we have all been there. imo when you play in the snow you have to go all out otherwise you're getting stuck.

nah, nothing i can see, the box is a little mis shapen, but i think that's just the way it's supposed to be, i didn't look at the other side to compare...

that was at nakiska... yo board often? i have been meaning to find some more people in the city to go with... everyone i know from work has taken holidays to go to nova scotia... i bought the nakiska seasons pass back in july, and then the sunshine marmot card, with the direct to lift upgrade, so i hit those 2 generally... never been to louise though

waiting for a call from the body shop, estimate was done on the 21st... hopefully the 1st week of january it will go in... unless something comes up, i'm getting the 05 bumper and stx grille :D giddy school girl laugh! was thinking about breaking my tow hooks, and seeing if i could get the 03 level II hooks as replacement, but those things are damn solid!

Good! But I don't like the STX grille. Looks like cheap horizontal plastc slats, oh wait it is. I think it takes away from the beefy look of the LII. Its your truck though, just my two cents. I vote to put it back the way it was

nah, i got reasons though, the bumper i can take the valence off, and make it still look good, and give better ground clearance...

the grills we have look better, but the STX grill is the only stock grill, that fits our trucks, that i can put fog lights behind, i'll change it to something else eventually, but for now, stx it is... atleast this way, i have the suround to put in a billet grill or something... i've got some ideas for a custom grill, but i know i won't get around to them...

yeah i went probably 80-100 times last year this year will be closer too 15 got alot too do. nakiska is nice usualy icy but big. i have gone too just sunshine for the last 9 years so this is why i am at louies this year. i got a 2 louise cards and 1 sunshine card so chances are we may run into eachother. i guess i will just have too look for the no front end ranger...................and then pull you out

**** i remmber when i was 14 i would take the worst wipe outs and just bounce back however i am only 20 now and it hurts like a ***** too fall and takes weeks too get better. also as for getting stuck i have always found that these trucks work rather well in our snow the 4x4 sure is a **** load better than that in the dodge dakota so when your stuck well i have found your really stuck.
