The flat butt or the truck? Personally I like both.

Maybe so, but you know you'd still hit it.

Ohhh i get it.. so the new 08s come with 2 chicks to go with you to the beach when you buy one.

Guess its time to trade in the 2000 for an 08.

Apparently if you own a ranger you have to be pulling around jet ski or two. Seems every other ford picture or commercial with a ranger that is the case

how would it look if one bought an STX grill and put it on a 06-07? I really like the new front bumper w/ the round fogs...

But that's the way vehicles are going now. I find it really annoying as a potential owner of any new vehicle (even as little as that potential is given my happiness with my ranger). I see it more of a $$$$ fix if ever in an accident versus a simple fix of the metal, seperate piece bumpers that could just simple be replaced instead of the whole front clip. Example here would be the new front end design of GMCs.

FWIW, those loving on the "new" round fogs. They aren't new! Look at a bumper from I believe 97-03. 04 is when the valence went over to the square fogs, and personally I prefer them over the rounds.

That's my problem too...

If I had to pay for a new ranger, equally set up the way this 04 is stock I'd be hard pressed not to go for the 150. This very same "paradox" is with the frontier and tacoma. Equipped the way I'd want either of those trucks I could get a new F-150 for around the same price!

It seems like ford is just slapping together a bunch of overstocked ranger parts to make trucks till they're out of parts and ......the death of the ranger.
