Just a quick question when was the last year of the Ford ranger splash

they had a 98 splash?? I though the splash was just a I-beam/TTB deal.

what is the difference between the step side and a splash?

nope i was proved wrong LONG time ago they did it in 98 but then it turned into the SPORT model....

Step side is a bed style that was an option.. splash came with a step side bed, and MONOCHROME paint job and on 2wd models lowered 1" factory...

the 98 didnt come lowered at all only the 93-97 splashes were lowered 1 inch from the factory.
