squeak/whistle coming from front end

Im wondering if anyone can diagnose this problem for me. There is a squeak/ high pitched whistle coming from the front end of my truck. It does it when im going more than 20 mph. It is a constant squeak. I believe it is coming from the left side of the truck. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Have you installed a cold air intake? If so, you might have a loose part that air is whistling over.. just a thought

It also sems to squeak with the speed im going, if im speeding up it squeaks faster, if im going slower the squeak slows down, if that makes any sense.

Hi, David, Terry here, i had the exact same whistling noise: heres what was fixed:one extruder seal was dry and one was bad, lubed the dry one and replaced the bad one.and, to be safe, deglazed the brake pads and cleaned the rust off the rotors.

I will definitely check that out. Thanks Terry. Did your squeal seem like it got faster when you sped up or slower when you slowed down? Im thinking it might also possibly be the hub assembly.

the squealing sound matched the speed of the truck. it took my mechanic over 3 hours of searching for the squeal while the truck was on the lift. (he was using a stethescope) finally, he found the problem. cost $200 to fix.

the weight of all that cash in your wallet was throwing off the alignment of the truck
