stock spare tire mount system ?'s

This may sound weird, but could someone tell me or show me a pic of what the end of the bar looks like that goes into the spare tire system to lower it down? I thought it was like a flat curved piece at the end...but I don't seem to have that anymore....

I had my truck repaired and they put the spare tire back on upside down, so it has been dangling there for a couple weeks...so i lowered it, flipped it back the right way and tried to crank it back up but it keeps slipping on something when I crank it and won't tighten up all the way. Wondering if they messed something up.

Your description sounds right. it looks like a "t" without the top cross part.

thanks for the info. I think that "t" end may be stuck inside the hole because it's not at the end of the bar anymore....
