Well my tires are showing signs that they need to be replaced within the year and i have a tough decision to make

should i keep my truck offroad and get a lift and 33's................will be about 700 for tires and 500 for a lift

or

go street, take out the rear blocks, uncrank my torsion bars to get it even and get some mustang rims and lower pro....... will be about 700 from ebay.

rims would be somethign like this

reasons to go street:
right now i am leaning more towards going street since i do mostly street driving. i also have my quad to go offroading with so i wouldnt need my truck to go offroading. also my truck is starting to make weird noises

reasons to go offroad:
i go offroad maybe once every two months. its fun as hell to beat the crap outta my truck.

heres a pic of my truck now just for reference

what do you think!?

If it's 4x4 go offroad, if it's 4x2 sell it and get a 4x4 and go offroad. If you want something that's stuck to the street buy a car.

That's a tough one. Just buy the street tires and wheels and keep your old ones. That way you can switch back and forth.

I never go off-road but my truck is lifted with 33's. I did it for looks and to seperate myself from every other Black Edge I see. Sometimes I do wish I could go street with some Twankies though.

What's wrong with the way it is? Just replace the tires. If it does what you want it to, why spend all the money to change it if you're not sure you'll be happy with it? I think it looks great the way it is!

Sorry, he was asking for opinions. That was my opinion. Jeez.. :p

He can spend his money any way he likes.... if he wants to lift it or drop it and then 5 months down the road regrets it, no biggie, it's just money, right?
