Just got this cluster off ebay because it looks close to sport trac's cluster. It is advertised as a 03 ranger xlt cluster. Did rangers come with a cluster like this? Link below

I have an '03 EDGE and it did not come with that type of cluster. I think that type of cluster only came in the FX4's?

 

My 01 Explorer came with those guages

 

i think it was an FX4 and level 2 thing for 03. dont quote me on it though.

 

i know of some 2wds that came with it

Thanx for the input everyone. I just hope it is a plug and play for me. Ive got 97 explorer cluster in my 96 now. we will see i guess.

 

The silver faced clusters came on 03 XLTs. Of course, FX4s and LIIs are also XLTs, so they got them too. The Tremor and Sport Trac clusters are similar but they are white.

The black clusters are the same for 2WD and 4WD. The white and silver ones have different cutouts and indicator lights between 2WD and 4WD. To tell the difference, check carefully on the far right for the 4WD and 4WD LOW light cutouts.

 

Haha, I saw that cluster and almost bid on it. Picked up one out of an Explorer though. All I want are the needles and the faces, nuts to changing out the whole cluster and rolling the odometer.

 

Yep those did indeed come on the XLT's as well as the FX4 and such.. a friend of mine has an '03 regular cab XLT with the 2.3L and it has those gauges. All you need to do to avoid doing any odometer 'rolling' is just swich the actual odometer assembly out from your cluster to the new cluster, thats what I did and works great.
