Hey all.

Never owned a truck, and I've never owned a Ford vehicle. But I'm looking at a 1990 V6 Ranger XLT on Saturday, so I thought I'd make an account here and see what I should be looking for.

Here's the truck in question: Carfind 1990 Ranger

Primarily I'm planning on using it for a daily driver to work and back, about 20 kilometers in total every weekday. Then also use it occasionally for those times I need a truck, like picking up dirt, hauling small amounts of lumber, etc. Not really planning on towing or anything like that.

I don't know if it's the 2.9 or 3.0 V6. I do know that it has no AC, apparently the previous owners took out the whole compressor. Not sure why.

So what sorts of things should I be on the lookout for when I go to see it? I'm pretty ignorant to these trucks.
