Its threads like this is why I left R-F for over a year, every wines like a little ***** and the reason the post was made gets lost in every post. R-F is really just a big pissing contest.

um excuse me? maybe you should re-read how that conversation started, and what exactly was said, if you did, maybe you would notice that it was all done in a joking manner, now why don't you go **** your hat?

ranger1, i hear what your saying, but on the other side, it probably worked out for the better anyways, the mod was an epic fail... i won't even post the pics i had taken while doing it... if this conversation hadn't started, i would have asked one of the mods to delete the thread to destroy any proof of me trying it

essentially, i dumped as much mono ultra silicone as i could, into the cup holder insert, around an XL cup, and it didn't work at all... the silicone stuck to the cup, even though i covered it in transmission fluid

Now that's a different mod for sure. The cup holders in my 01 fit Timmies cups perfectly, but I always take the mug refill, I like my travel mug better.

Now as for the 4 page pissing match in here, not too surprised. We know who's better anyway, the ones who don't whine and ***** all the time and get their backs up.

All well, for those on both sides that can't take a light joke, pull you head from your @ss and grow a pair!! Sig that!!

You also need to know that Tim's sizes differ between USA and Canada. Last time I went to Sin City (for AC/DC concert in January) I bought Tim's large coffee before the border and found out some miles later that my large was medium in the states. Their x-large was a bucket. I guess Americans like our Tim's more than Canadians

^^ True on that.

But as the old saying goes, everything has to be bigger and better in the USA....LOL

Their XL is freakin' HUGE though..........I though it was a Big Gulp for a sec....LOL

Oh boy!!!

*You'd figure it would all be the same, seeing as it's a Canadian company, but I guess the Yanks like their coffee HUGE.

any pics of this cupholder mod? i skipped from page 1 to page 4 lol

my solution, was an full length explorer center console. in the back cupholder, closest to the center glovebox, take out the little insert, and you can fit HUGE cups!! thats what i do for large slurpies and other drinks of the like

I find the dual cup holders on my FX4 center console hold two Timmies mint, but I also always get mine in a travel mug too cause the cups suck.

Best one I ever done was in my trail rigs, used cleaned out food cans and screwed them to the floor or center console. They'll hold a coffee cup/soda can/beer can solid on nearly any angle, up to but unfortunately short of rolling the truck. Sorry I don't have any pics, but just imagine a can screwed down and a drink stuffed in it. They hold it tight (especially 355 ml beer cans) and the only issue of course is the liquid sloshing, but the cup/can won't fall out. I know its pretty ghetto for a DD/ show truck but just sayin'... LR
