for tinting tails..paint or window tint

2000 3L sport i wanna say so my tails really arent all that curvy. so would you guys say window tint or a can of VHT nightcrap and just tape off my reverse? just wondering what works better. not even sure im going to do it since my headlights dont come off so i could do them too...salt and florida weather sucks...but rust loves it

I would say VHT nightshade over window tint any day. It's what I have always used and as long as you prep before use it comes out good.

Definitely Nightshades. Prep for that really is just give your tails a thorough cleaning. Use light coats until you get the desired darkness, then make sure to clear them after to get a solid protection as well as a better shine.

I have it done on my truck if you want to check it out. The only pictures I have of it are in the snapshots thread "finally pictures of my truck" is the title ... Night shade is the way to go 3 light coats worked out good for me
