Tire sizes? Need help?

I have a year 2000 Ford Ranger with Stock Rims in which I want to keep. I need new tires. Stock is 235/75/R15. I want to go just the next step up bigger as to not mess with the differential, speedometer, stability, shocks, struts, or anything that will affect the truck in a negative way? What are the next tires sizes I would be looking at, or could I go up 2 more sizes without getting my truck in trouble?

^^ what he said but you can go up a bit and have zero problems except the speedo and mileage. Maybe go with a 255?

What size tire do you recomend, I'm not good with what the tire size numbers mean? Like I said I have the stock Size P235/75R15. I want to go to the next biggest size or the next bigger size. What woudl those sizes be? Keep in mind I am keeping my Stock 15" Rims on this, Just want a bigger, beefier tire.
:-) Thanks for the help everyone
