Need help deciding on wheels/tire sizes

I have a 2002 XLT 4x4 with Mild T-Bar crank and i'm trying to figure out what size tires I want. Any pictures would help too.

But one quick question, whats the difference between buying a 7in or 8in wide rim (15 or 16). Will one make the tires stick out farther or just help with rubbing or ballooning?

Here is what i'm thinking and any thoughts about rubbing, issues, looks would really help. (All will be on Pro Comp Series 52 Wheels)

265/75/R16 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac Around $1299
285/75/R16 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac Around $1504
32X11.5R15 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar Around $1254

I looked at getting 31s but they just look to small and don't fill out the wheel well as much as I would like.

I got 04 with mild crank. 265/75 RF16 MT tires and the rear rubs in full flex. Front is great. Go figure.

Ya I would recommend either 265/75-16 or 32x11.50. I don't like a 285/75-16..but that's just me..too tall and skinny. Looks like you tried to stuff as much tire as you could just to do it haha. When my truck was stock height I did a mild crank with 265/75-16 BFG A/Ts and I feel I could've fit much bigger in there, but at the same time it did look okay.

Here is that...(Sorry for the old crappy pictures)

If your buying rims, Id go with a nice 18. 18s look amazng on a Ranger, but tires are a bear to find. I lucked out with my 18s: my buddy bought new tires for his truck and sold me his old ones for $20.
And also, Iv heard the Wrangler ATs are a very nice all terrain if your looking to save some $$. But in my opinion, mud terrains look cool as hael!

And as for width, you dont want too wide or else youl have to run spacers. I duno how wide a Ranger will accept but I know my 10.5s are wayyy to wide lol
