My current box(pictured in this thread) is a Delta Champion Compact Deep box.

My old box was a Delta 'economy' LowPro compact...i had antenna mounted on that too. lol.

Stone, do you have a problem with your antenna grounding with that type of mount? I am.

shane, ok, so delta champion deep, i think im gunna take up that offer for 50 bucks. its kinda hard to tell, but which do you think is bigger on the inside, compared to the kobalt at lowe's. it all depends on if they still have the keys or not tho.

oh also, i will most definately paint it black if i get a silver one. what kind of paint do i use? me and my gf are going shopping tomorrow, so hopefully i can pickup the box, paint, and a few other things i want when were in toledo.

I had the same mount you have. I used the bolts and the front part, but tossed the back and then mounted it on my toolbox.

I have since switched to a different location because of my cap.

Shane does it matter if I have the antenna mounted on the same side as my AM/FM radio antenna or as long as the CB antenna is bigger than AM/FM is that good? I know with military radios I used to work on antennas had to be different heights because of interference.

Has anyone here tried running one of the No ground plane antenna's where you don't need to ground it?
